April 2008: Identity Management Month

April 2008 has been promoted as Identity Management Month by the New Zealand Government. The Biometrics Institute has therefore scheduled its 4th Annual Conference & Exhibition on the 3 April focusing on Biometrics, ID & Data Management, Border Control, Privacy and Biometric Evaluations. Victoria University of Wellington in partnership with the State Services Commission and the Department of Internal Affairs will hold an Identity Management Conference on the 29-30 April focusing on the development and future directions of identity management in New Zealand, and its wider implications for users.
